My interest in photography came at a young age. My dad always carried a camera with him to family outings, church events, and just rides in the car. It was not uncommon to have a slide show in our living room, or the basement of the church. At the age of 16 I received my first 35mm camera. Since then I have tried to develop my skill as a photographer. I have not only studied from books, but also tested my vision of images and the limits of my cameras.
I enjoy nature, pets, and travel. It is only natural for me to channel my interests into a career. I have traveled to the Arctic to view the northern lights. I have hiked the rain forest in search of wild orchids. I have kayaked the Colorado River with ducks and trout as my companions. I went to Germany in search of my roots and my family. I have photographed many beautiful public gardens. No matter how far I travel, I am still in awe of the little flower in a neighbor's yard or on a local trail
I also have had dogs all my life. I try to capture a dog's personality in their photos. I also like to photograph the special bond between a dog and their owner
I live in Northeast Pa. It is a wonderful place to hone my skills. I also do travel and location photography. Please contact me for your photo needs. 570-817-0409 or HCookPhotos@hotmail.com
